Matching service only. Under Florida Chapter 482 we are not a certified operator. We do not spray, bait, tent, or inspect.
Matching service. A backyard mosquito program is a licensed operator job. County mosquito control is a different public program. This site runs neither.
Horizon West, Hamlin, and Waterleigh put houses next to retention ponds, irrigation, and construction. That is a design feature of the growth area, not a defect you invented. Adult mosquitoes still need water for the immature stages. UF/IFAS tells homeowners that source reduction — removing standing water — is the most important backyard step, and that surveillance should come before insecticide.
CDC’s mosquito pages say the same in public-health language: dump, drain, and cover containers; screens; and community programs for larger water. A decorative pond or a HOA lake is not a birdbath you can tip. A licensed operator decides whether a yard program belongs next to that water. A matching website does not.
Orlando’s 1991–2020 climate normals put the wet season squarely in June through September (June 8.05 inches, July 7.46, August 7.69, September 6.37). Match requests for mosquito programs cluster after that pattern starts. Name the community — Hamlin, Waterleigh, Horizon West — and whether the complaint is dusk on the lanai or standing water in a saucer.
Florida Chapter 482 is still the line. We match you with a licensed local pest control operator. We do not fog the pond, the hedge, or the playground.
