This website is in testing. Orlando West Pest Care has not launched as a live operating company and no Florida LLC is set up yet. Soft match requests only — nothing here is a binding offer of pest control services. Matching service only under Fla. Stat. ch. 482 (we do not spray, bait, tent, or inspect).

Mosquito program matching

Retention ponds, new construction, and a long wet season make backyard mosquitoes a west Orlando problem. A licensed operator runs a program. County mosquito control is a different public program.

Matching service only. Under Florida Chapter 482 we are not a certified operator. We do not spray, bait, tent, or inspect.

Ponds, new construction, wet season

Horizon West, Hamlin, and Waterleigh wrap houses around retention ponds. UF/IFAS tells homeowners that source reduction — removing standing water — is the first mosquito step (UF/IFAS, Mosquitoes and their Control (IN1045)). CDC’s mosquito pages say the same in public-health language (CDC, About mosquitoes,CDC, Mosquito control).

Orlando International’s 1991–2020 normals put June–September as the wet months, with June at 8.05 inches (Florida Climate Center, Orlando 1991–2020 normals). That is why backyard programs spike after the pattern starts. A licensed operator decides whether a yard program belongs next to a pond. We do not.

What we do not do

We do not fog, larvicide, or run a mosquito truck. We match you with a licensed local pest control operator. See Fla. Stat. ch. 482 (Pest Control).

Questions

Matching, not a spray company.

Is this county mosquito control?

No. Public mosquito control programs are a different system. This page matches backyard or residential mosquito programs with a licensed operator. CDC and UF/IFAS still put source reduction — dumping standing water — first.

Do you fog the yard?

No. Orlando West Pest Care does not apply pesticides. We match the request.

Read Fla. Stat. ch. 482 (Pest Control)and FDACS, Pest Control. We match you with a licensed local pest control operator.
