Matching service only. Under Florida Chapter 482 we are not a certified operator. We do not spray, bait, tent, or inspect.
What this job usually is
Florida defines general household pest control as pest control in a structure that is not fumigation and not termite or other wood-destroying organism work. SeeFla. Stat. § 482.021 (definitions). Palmetto bugs after rain, ants on the kitchen line, and spiders in the lanai sit in that bucket.
UF/IFAS writes that American, Australian, brown, and smokybrown cockroaches — 1¼ to 2 inches — are often called palmetto bugs, and that outdoor species often enter after they migrate or are carried indoors (UF/IFAS, Cockroaches and Their Management (IG082)). The Florida Climate Center’s Orlando International normals put June rainfall at 8.05 inches, the wet-season peak (Florida Climate Center, Orlando 1991–2020 normals). That is weather context, not a treatment plan from this site.
What we do not do
We do not spray baseboards, bait kitchens, or inspect a lanai. A licensed operator does. FDACS is the regulator: FDACS, Pest Control.
